Celebrating More Than 40 Years of Community
Kentuckians For The Commonwealth was born in 1981. For the more than 40 years since, KFTC has campaigned on issues of vital importance for Kentuckians, including racial justice, democracy and voting rights economic justice, and climate and environmental justice. KFTC is working for a day when Kentuckians and all people enjoy a better quality of life. The organization elevated its work to develop grassroots leaders with the launch of the Organizing Academy and Apprentice programs in 2017 and the Empower Kentucky Leadership Network in 2019.
